Yes the boats are insured for private use and daytime navigation. The excess will be specified clearly and should the loss or damage not be covered by insurance the user is responsible for all costs.

No, the membership is specific to an individual boat.
No, the membership is fixed for 12 months.
As the named member you are responsible for the safety of the vessel and must be in command.
You must be at a competent level; we will provide a thorough induction to the boat to ensure you are competent and confident. If you need training, we can provide this through our training partner. Its important you are entirely comfortable and can safely look after your guests and the boat. If you wish to discuss your experience, please contact our team.
No, lifejackets are onboard. However for children its best to have your own which are the correct fitment.
Yes, you must return the boat refuelled.
Yes, however we ask guests to be very mindful of any mess as its your responsibility to return the vessel clean from fishing.
Superior member need to remove rubbish and leave the boat in a good standard for cleaning.
Premier members need to clean the boat when you arrive back to the marina. All cleaning products and equipment is provided.
No, each subscription is specific to an individual user who must be on the vessel.
You can have two forward bookings in place at any one time.
Each member has an individual login to our management portal, you can see availability and request bookings here.
To be fair to other members we require reasonable notice of cancellation, if you cancel your booking before 6pm the previous day we will simply add that day back to your allocation.
Our booking management software ensures members can readily see availability and we maintain a fair balance of forward bookings and spontaneous availability.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on board.
The outer operating limits are the Hauraki Gulf. Not beyond West Coast of Great Barrier Island and the Coromandel. Not north of Great Barrier Island. Management may restrict the limits dependant on experience.
This depends on the vessel, the maximum amount of people will be specified in your vessel rule blook.
The check in time is 8:00am or later at your leisure. The vessel must be back by 7pm in summer and 5:30pm in winter, or 30 minutes prior to sunset, which ever is earlier.
The boats are equipped for overnight stays, however you must book the following day as well to allow this. The vessels are not allowed to be moved before or after sunset.
It can only be used for private/leisure use. You cannot receive any reward of any kind from friends or guests.
No, all our boats are non-smoking.
